THE MAHARASHTRA PROHIBITION ACT, 1949
ULTIMATE PROHIBITION
This Act was passed by the State of Bombay in 1949 under the leadership of then Chief Minister Mr. Balasaheb Gangadhar. It completely prohibits the presence of seeds, leaves, ganja, and hashish inside the Maratha State. The penalty for violation can lead to imprisonment and a heavy fine.

ULTIMATE PROHIBITION
